The Sinsinawa Dominicans employ approximately 150 people in occupations ranging from accounting, clerical, food service, graphic design, housekeeping, human resources, maintenance, nursing, and public relations.
The main responsibilities are leading prayer, accompanying Sisters to medical appointments, supporting Sisters during surgery and health-related emergencies and extended hospital stays and assisting with in-house moves. Valid drivers license is needed as well as the ability to drive. Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds. Ability to travel independently using Sinsinawa vehicles. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Demonstrated respect for elders. Proven understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality.
